25 photo frames for picture perfect walls
For the November 2024 issue of House & Garden, our decoration coordinator, Elena Smintina, was tasked with finding the most beautiful picture frames available to buy now. What's more, they range from affordable options to luxury frames, and are an eclectic mix of colours, shapes and sizes.
These frames can be used to display family photos, cherished memories or landscapes, found images, or postcards that you've fallen in love with. Often, the frame is just as important as the picture, so think carefully about what you're pairing together- after all, the wrong frame can completely overwhelm an image. Furthermore, don't overlook the type of mount that could be paired with a picture - a coloured mount can really elevate a framed image. Consider coordinating or clashing the mount cardboard with the frame or picture colour. Etsy have some great customisable options for this.
